Another curious question among the same lines. When we go in for our extension. And still need more time to figure out our Ed visa. Do you think if we try to obtain a tourist visa from Laos, we will be denied due to our history too? We’ve done a tourist visa in Laos before. But that was before Covid and we had just been to Thailand once! 🤣
Thanks! We’ve been on this Thailand wave since Covid. Left for a year… And then went on one-year Ed visas. Left for a month and came back and got “interrogated” by multiple immigration officers. Questioning a lot and asking for proof of us at the last school, etc. So then the 4th immigration officer finally stamped us in and then I thought she made a little signature signifying something. Maybe preventing us from getting our extension at immigration. As we find another education visa option since we moved cities. 🤣 A little paranoid. Yes. 🤣🤣
To add… Are you direct!? Yes. Being blunt Is necessary when you’re trying to navigate an already twisted system. I don’t know about everyone else. But I didn’t join this group to be coddled. I joined for a wealth of information, to navigate living a life people dream of. And you Tod have done that. Especially for those of us that were “stuck” here when the whole world went into a frenzy. Let us NOT forget who navigated all of us with updated information. And peace of mind when we were left isolated.
, don’t you dare leave. Whoever doesn’t like the way things are run. Let them go create their own group! See if they can do better, while juggling the pressure.
It’s amazing how entitled so many people feel. 🙄 The purpose of a post is to get an answer to a question. Once said answer is given… There is no reason for more opinions to be given. If I ever had more information to add, I just message the original person and give them more information, if they need it. But everyone wants their opinions seen and heard. Sometimes, that’s just not the case.
Don’t you go anywhere because people want to be sensitive! You’ve helped so many people over the years! Navigating life abroad can be rough at times. And you’ve made it a little less daunting to say the least!
You’re the absolute best! I pay attention on here. And when I asked them if I needed to. I knew something was very fishy. 🙄
I had to request a brand new passport for my husband. He ran out of pages. It will probably arrive the same time I have to do this. And we have to get his stamps transferred over to his new passport, that I’m sure of. 😅 Thank you for the confirmation. 🙏🏽
