Come on peeps...every country has rules. If you decide to leave your country you must abide by your future home's rules. If you want to retire here there are 2 basic ways...showing income or deposited income in a thai bank. It is true some...most countries are stopping income letters which is a shame. Therefore you can still show income transfers via Transfer Wise. Or just put 400,000 baht for a marriage retirement visa or simply put 800,000 baht in a retirement visa. Both have some rules but they can be managed. Don't expect to walk into thailand and have everything handed to you on a silver platter. You have to exert an honest effort. You should know the rules before you complain. The pluses outweigh the negatives so please relax and enjoy your final years. Be happy...cheers
I had been refused 2 applications because I did not have the account for 1 complete year!!!!! I had 800,000baht showing 10 months straight months with no changes but i was still not accepted. Hopefully next year I will be fine.
don't mean to pry into your private business... If your purchased the home without financing ie cash... That is easy... Just very hard to finance buying from banks here. We have a mutual friend who is looking at buying also... Cheers
ok... We hope the Canadian consulate doesn't change! I know someone wants to buy a house for his Thai girlfriend also... Can you explain how to do that?
If your American embassy will issue you a monthly statement showing amounts... That's all you need. Canadian consulate issues these letters still and hassle free with a small charge. Good luck Hollywood
