Impossible too calculate so I can only give you my budget living in bang saray which is between 40-45k baht a month. But that's just living expenses such as rent, utilities, food, sundries, internet, bike fuel (own my own bike).

So ( as an absolute bare minimum) after transport and accomodation ( that's AFTER ) you need at least 10k baht per week x 4 = 40 k say plus 15k plus 10 = 65 k for an individual , now this is also the amount needed for you Visa , for 2 people , times it by 2 .

It depends on the lifestyle that you want. For me, I live a decent life but hardly HiSo, nice condo, eat whatever I feel like and shop when I feel like it at markets and mid range places- not Louis Vuitton etc lol. I spend on average around 35,000 a month. Work pays a big chunk of my housing and all visa costs. The rest of the salary is for pension and travel. I don't own a house or car and don't want to be tied down to stuff like that either.

This is an argument that has gone on for decades from expats. I am staying out of this battle. Because whenever I mention how cheaply and well I have lived here for over two decades. I am told I must be living in a broken down wood shack in Isan with no running water. If you are able to speak basic Thai you can save yourself a lot of $$$ and stress in the long run.

My wife and I have been living on 50,000 thb per month for many years, not including holidays or unexpected medical costs. You can probably live on 20,000 thb per month or spends hundreds of thousands a month depending on your lifestyle.

House hold bills for 3 of us under 2000b.

Drinking..

Location..

20 mins. Marko Sattahip

Plenty of schools here

Golf about 4 courses all with in 30mins.

Nong nuch 10 mins away

Water park and cinema 10 mins

All u need and not too far from Pattaya
