They don’t have a proper retirement visa option there yet. You need to be married to a Lao to stay long term.

If you’re just coming in with your passport for less than 60 days, I think you’re going to need a return or onward ticket. Maybe you can get one that you’re able to change the date if you need to.

I tried the local police but the embassy rejected it so I went to the state police website and was able to download my background check for $10 and it was accepted.
