If anyone knows how to transport anything on a bike… it’s the Thais and Vietnamese. Your dilemma is a two minute solution for those guys.

I have been travelling in and out of Thailand (and around the world) for nearly 40 years and the general rule for majority of countries in ‘6 month minimum’! … Including Thailand and more so now than ever with the authorities cracking down.

I have known people who have been turned back at immigration in Thailand because of it. Maybe your friends got lucky.

then why did you say ‘not in Thailand’ but now your saying ‘don’t travel with less than 6 months… sounds like your saying yes/no at the same time mate?

The Royal Thai Consulate General of Australia clearly states minimum 6 months validity for passports.

I don’t wish to challenge it… just simply want to know if we pay it or not as this topic is divisive. 100 say yes and 100 say no. I’ll read between lines of your response. Cheers.

All I want to know and can’t obtain the answer is tax and since you mentioned it… I’d like to ask you if that okay..

If I transfer a pension every month from my home country to a Thai Bank account in order to live, then do I pay tax on that remittance (transfer amount)? OR does the Australian/Thailand Double Tax Agreement negate this? Can’t seem to find a straight answer 🤷
