No, not everyone is me, but even here are more than enough people who complain about it. Anyhow... it is what it is... we will not change the rules here (sadly).

I totally understand what you say, that it can be a kind of burden, but on the other side there are options... more than some years ago already... online, agent, anyone with power of attorney, different visa... no need to do it in person.

Yep. exactly what I do... I have some nice places around any available office here... restaurant, coffeeshop, shopping, quick visit at the beach... :-)

Oh... one more thing... this timeframe is for report in person, for online reporting it's just 15 days before due, no overdue allowed.

I doubt it, but in theory it would be possible... yes.

Btw... your due date starting from July 15th would be October 12th, not 15th. It's 90 days, not three month. Entry day is always counted as day 1.

The first possible day for the report was the 27th of September, if one got the visa straight on the first day in July.

Yep... and if they don't give us somethin I also think about changing... to get my money out of the bank. But there are some things still unclear... how does it work with extension (how much, any paperwork needed to prove the class), what about renew drivers license (2y or 5y), can open a bank account or not... in about three month we will know more.

Yeah... DTV is really not bad... I saw one guy in the early days who got it based on one (1) appointment with his dentist.
