Yes you have. There is 10 months left on his Extension so he’ll need at least 10 months insurance to get the Thailand Pass.

2 errors.

First, Health insurance. Although it is now required for the initial application for Non O ‘for Retirement’ in your home country it is NOT required if you get it in Thailand NOR is it required for each subsequent Extension of Stay.

Second, the 800k location is the same for Non O and Non O-A. It DOES have to be in a Thai bank for Extensions of Stay.

No you don’t. That’s only for subsequent Extensions of Stay. For the initial application it can be in your home country bank.

If you are over 50 you can get a Non O-A visa which gives you a year on entry.

The first 2 sections of Who Can Apply are assumptions on their part.

None of the low risk countries are confirmed. Yes, the PM mentioned 5 but there’s no guarantee they’ll be on the list.

Also, they are assuming that 7 nights in SHA+ hotel will be required for all new ‘sandboxes’. We don’t know that yet either.

Finally, they say all countries not on low risk list will be allowed in new sandboxes but CCSA has already said it will be Medium Risk list only.

I could go on about other sections of their site but, frankly, I can’t be bothered. There’s been inaccurate information on this site for years.

Yes, if its correct. Some of the things they say are a guess on their part so I really wouldn’t rely on it. A lot of the information on this site is often out of date or just plain wrong.
