Sorry, but you are confusing two separate things.

The Visa Exempt entry has nothing specifically to do with the Sandbox, it’s a general thing. You can extend your stay by a further 30 days at immigration in Thailand.

Currently, the 45 days on entry instead of the usual 30 is meant to last until the end of September. However, given there’s no chance of quarantine ending, it’s very likely to continue to be 45 days for quite some time.

You’ll probably need an address for afterwards but don’t think they’re too fussy (apart for STV). Again, shouldn’t need a fully paid booking. The website will demand various things but you can be fairly flexible with what you put in a few sections. Embassy seem ok with it.

Depends on the Embassy you’ll be dealing with. You should be ok with flight details but not a confirmed booking at the visa stage but some Embassies are more awkward than others.

Screenshot the airline website with your name and flights but don’t pay.

You can use different flights for CofE.

London Embassy usually ok with this, don’t know about Paris.

Thailand and Switzerland are both Amber at the moment so no difference for travel to U.K. I don’t know the Swiss rules for transit, you’ll have to check.

As I said, the lists are being updated later today so keep an eye out for any changes.

No.

You will need to pre-book 2 Covid tests (plus get one before travelling) and complete the online declaration form.

Also, watch out for the announcement later today of the updated Red/Amber/Green countries for travel to England just in case Thailand is mentioned.

You’re welcome. I should also have said, it must cover the entire length of stay allowed by your visa. So, if there is 8 months left on your Extension of Stay when you return to Thailand then you’ll need Covid insurance for 8 months.
David *******
Make sure you get a re-entry permit before you leave. You’ll need Covid Insurance in order to get your Certificate of Entry to return. Robert Jackson and Arawan Namak have been very helpful to a lot of people if you look for them on here. Agent and Broker and either will get you what you need.

You submit a TM30 each time you change address. So, you’d be meant to complete one each time you went from one ‘home’ to the other.

It’s more difficult for the first one. It should be fine but depends on the IO. Another option is to just pay an agent the first time then make sure you have the monthly amount for the next one. Remember, it has to be a minimum of 65k baht every single month without fail for the full 12 months.

If one month is

baht then you can’t extend.

Unless you’d really rather not, probably best to put the 800k in a Thai bank as soon as you arrive. Needs to be there for at least 2 months before your first extension.
