Depends if it's SSI or SSDI.

In essence:

SSDI

is an "earned" benefit for workers who have contributed to the Social Security system.

SSI

is a "needs-based" program that provides assistance to those with limited income and resources, regardless of their work history.

SSI is a needs-based program that requires recipients to reside in the U.S. to ensure they are meeting the needs of vulnerable populations, according to the Social Security Administration.

U.S. citizens generally continue to receive SSDI benefits while residing abroad, as long as they meet all program requirements.

what does that mean? I didn't insult you or threaten you. I just told you that the name is "and everything else" and this falls into that category.

...."and everything else". You can turn off notifications if you don't want to see the responses.

Wise has a comparison tool. I can't vouch for these other apps but probably worth looking at

For a visa from the US my girlfriend had to write a letter of invitation....it was in English. She signed and scanned a copy with her Thai ID with it. Never had an issue on that.

The weekend is always slow for me. Seems like my bank probably has to approve it in some way(?)

Depends on where you going and where you're staying. If you're staying in the common places that most people like to visit it's very easy to get a ride from one place to another and pull your wheel luggage to wherever you got to go. If you're staying more rural it might be more difficult to drag your luggage and be easier to carry it on your back.

I have never done the VAT refund. How much do you get back? Seems like a lot of work for not much money?
