probably not racist at all .. but it definitely stinks if they decide before interview but make people trudge to Bangkok for no reason .. why not inform of denial prior to interview, then save people so much hassle .... All government bureaucracies are the same, no consideration for normal people .. it stinks

wow, why does anyone need to convince you .. go read on the immigration website to understand how a Visa is valid for a 12 month period but only allows for to stays in the kingdom for upto 90 days at a time in the valid visa period ... Convince yourself without the need of being skeptical of people who give good information....

they were very slow to get passports done during covid times .. maybe it's quicker now

your trying to use a logical approach with immigration however each office has the discretion to interpret the laws ... Which is why some people get frustrated because they go by the book only to be told a different set of requirements at some immigration offices .. and good luck telling the immigration staff that they have it wrong... Better to check beforehand and get the requirements at the local office, in a list from an officer that you can return it to....
