Can you say something about the Romanian crime gangs which seem to be bolstering their numbers with Romanians who have no reason to seek asylum from what is happening in Romania? The typical profile of genuine refugees includes families. Why are they mostly absent in the migration across the channel to the UK. What I really resent is you implying that I'm a racist. it takes me about 30 minutes every year at the immigration office. Even if you use an agent you will still have to go to your bank to get the statement. So you're telling someone who doesn't have the money for an agent but they do have 800k to put in the bank that they shouldn't be in Thailand? But If you don't have the 800k but you do have the money for an agent then that's just fine because the agent can get you the Visa without the 800k and and that's actually illegal. Which means you will be stuck with that agent forever. If you then subsequently want to do it yourself immigration will start asking you all sorts of uncomfortable questions.

yes that's true, but they can't process the applications faster than they arrive which is why the UK population has increased by 1.2 million the last 3 years.

well that's rather silly. Boatloads of young working age men without women or children coming across the channel in a boat to the UK. Do you think they are legally seeking asylum? From Romania? Lol. I vote we send them all to Australia. 😄

just to give you some further info because this is what I did. You don't even have to use a lawyer to make a legitimate will in Thailand but I did just for convenience. It cost me 10,000 baht. It took just a couple of days to finalize the wording which was in both English and Thai and then signed by myself, the lawyer and two witnesses. In the will the accounts I wanted to bequeath were written into the will. I gave one copy to my wife and the other copy was retained by the lawyer for safekeeping. Any local lawyer's office will offer this service.

Just make a will bequeathing that account to whoever you name. It's very simple and straightforward to make a will here.
