to each his own. I love Laos. The simplicity and people. Each place to me has its pros and cons. I don't come to Laos to do a million things but relax and focus on myself , work and local friends. But that's why we are all different and it's all good. If everyone loved the same things it would be a boring world but to call a place "shit" is a little much. Haha. But your opinion . 🍻

Laos 1 yr visa is an option too.. quite sleepy of a place compared to Thailand

let's see.. I seriously doubt people staying longer than 180 days will not get taxed in Thailand when it's all said and done. Thailand's not stupid. Nomads have been skirting the laws for yrs with taxes.
