Before next visit, from your home country, if over 50, apply for an non imm O visa. Then, when you arrive, you can open a bank account here, you can also get a driving license.

Had similar because I used incorrect PIN when in UK. Had to go to AIS (my SIM), get a text receipt, that, and passport to BB, form filling and selfie blinking, smiling and turning head. Job done. I used BB in Central Festival, they know what their doing.
