Not meaning to hijack this thread, but will I need proof of funds if I already received a visa at the Thai Consulate in my home location?

I have a power block with a 10,000 mAh storage rate, and just purchased a note 9 with a 4000mAh battery

Robert Lagas - Thx for your prompt response. I ask this question in the event that i don't get a 30 day extension after my 60 day SETV. I plan to go to the Philippines at the end of my Visa stay, so I can schedule my airline ticket for a flight after 60 or 90 days.

an SETV should be good enough for my purposes. I have no intentions to travel outside of Thailand for the duration of both my stays in LOS. I plan to use my time in the Philippines as a relatively short time recovery period as I have a caretaker with a home in the Philippines that has given me permission to stay in their home when i am in the area.

- I plan to set aside a "small" amount for health concerns. In the past I have not done so. I also intend to have money saved for emergencies, just not the requested USD7K in the scheduled time I plan to travel.

Thx all for the info. My first stay in Thailand is with a SETV because I have no plans to travel outside of the Country for the duration of the Visa. The 2nd leg of my tour is a 30 day visa exemption entry in the Philippines. The next leg is a 60 day (+ extension) SETV, and finally an extended stay in the Philippines (depending on remaining budgetary reserves). my question regarding a METV was to entertain the possibility of an extended stay in Thailand without the obligation of leaving the Country between tours. In others words, I wanted to have more of a scheduling freedom for the duration of my tour. The way things stand now is that I can get by on a couple of SETV, with a 30 day visa exemption stay in the Philippines.
