I just tried to get an info if OP got a regular O multiple for one year, which requires to do a border bounce every 90days or a real O-A multiple which could be used for up to two years. We recently got enquiries from UK guys which were deported and blacklisted because they thought they had an O-A and "forgot" to do the 90day border run.
as an member of this group I am a bit sceptical of people claims, in Angela Smith topic I find it surprising that two people got O-A visa in UK and have no glue on how to use the visa and have to turn to FB to get advise, sounds a bit strange.
before the topic spill over. SA can not get visa in KL only. Other countries OK. The web sides of Thai Embassies , in most cases clearly state which country OK and which not. I close comment.
Nong Khai border will not do, you have to go to Nong Khai Immigration which is about 2km or 5minutes from border on the way to town. BTW without letter from Embassy they will not transfer.
Usher Taka a bit surprised that CW did not transfer the stamps, some land border will also make some addl enquiries or ask extra. In general they view a person with a Non Immigrant B as work permit holder and they are afraid you stopped working earlier or try to evade tax issues and they not want to be that person if something comes up to have handled your passport. To which border are you planning to go today? If go via airport you'll have no problem.
