TLDR : Answer Summary
A user with an expired Non-B visa who had to leave Thailand for work is seeking advice on how to proceed. Comments suggest that a new visa will be needed to re-enter Thailand, and specific documentation related to employment and the work permit will be required. It's also noted that entering Thailand on a visa exemption may be possible depending on nationality.

So, no, you can not just enter.

You will need to apply for Visa

SETV more or less anywhere

METV in your country of nationality or residence

Non Imm B Visas are connected to a Work Permit. And 99% of the time the Work Permit is assigned to one Employer - one location - one job. Generic B Visas and Work Permits do not exist in Thailand

@Danny ********
I have seen less and less of them.

It is most certainly the point Mr. A Hole

That's not the point, mr. Iglu. ๐Ÿ˜‚

And such a Non B would soon run into problems in Thailand when no WP ever showed up. Once upon a time people could wander around Thailand for a year with a Non B not connected to a WP but those days are gone
Danny *********
Not really true. You can get a non-b from EU countries without having it tied to a wp. Been there, done that. But I agree it probably would be very difficult if not impossible in Thailand's neighboring countries.

Got a job ?
Amornrat **********
That complicates matters as only few Thai Embassy will issue you a visa. Usually you have to get it from your home country or country of residence.

Danny *********
Some/most(?) nationalities can enter Thailand without a Visa and most of them will get 30 days entry. What's your nationality?
Danny *********
No, you will have to get a new visa, or enter on visa exempt if possible.
