I think airlines that impose this stipulation may lose customers like myself ....I now go with the airlines that don't ask....I fly frequently and prefer flexibility in my itinerary without having to cancel or rearrange prearranged flights ...just a hassle and frustrating

true ...some airlines ask others don't ...even with Same airline it can be random ....very annoying when it's so arbitrary ...seems an unnecessary stipulation as many are now buying fake tickets which they never use anyway .

@Dan *******
yes depends on the airline ...some don't require proof of onward flights . Can be annoying when you get to check in and they ask for proof tho .

yes ...but immigration /govt aren't requesting it as far as I can ascertain ...it appears to be arbitrary ...some airlines ask others don't . The issue is it's the airlines responsibility if you are denied entry and they have to pay for your exit . Very occasionally this does happen .

Never been asked for onward ticket before and I've been coming for over 20 years ...maybe new airline policy ...for some airlines it's becoming a stipulation now . Just annoying ...you can book a return and cancel or change dates or buy a fake cheap ticket it seems to be what many are doing now . Or go with an airline that doesn't ask

@Jim *******
I will just use airlines that don't require or ask
