Very true I had my accounts frozen when I transferred a small amount into an account I had opened with another bank to test it. It was deemed as suspicious. The amount was $1.00🙂

Why would I disagree your 100% correct. What I find hard to tolerate is people that have been here to long, and haven't got a nice word to say. I really don't want to share in unhelpful comments. This post was not about the advantage of disadvantages of having a yellow book , it was about bank account requirements. I don't particularly care for his opinion whether a yellow book is necessary or not. His opinion doesn't add anything useful to the discussion. Views that are not balanced are not helpful to anyone, read all his posts, it might put what I'm saying into perspective.

Still need to renew your tm30 with immigration. It just means I don't have to travel to immigration to get a certificate of residency. Saves me a two hour round trip.

No wasn't frozen. Read my previous post. I can only guess that suspending peoples account has cost them a lot of business, so the new approach is to call them first.
