Ultimately that may be my only choice but l will ask at the border crossing before leaving Thailand. I do have another option as the Ban Laen border crossing is just 100 km down south and l was going to travel that way soon anyway. I've still got over a week to decide.

Thanks for your comments: I'm actually staying with a friend in Aranyaprathet and the border is 10 minutes away this is why l was choosing Poipet. I have read some stories about problems but l also see that many agencies from Pattaya and Bangkok use this crossing. I'm not sure of what the process is but l do have a TM30 and a Thailand drivers license if that helps. There are no agencies around here as this isn't a tourist area was thinking of calling one up from Pattaya and meeting them at the border this could possibly work.

l also have a question about airline ticket, if l fly in on 60 day visa but intend on extending an extra 30 days. Should I purchased a 90 day return date or just get 60 day ticket and adjust it for an extra 30 days?
