Is the cost of living in Thailand now 80% of that in Australia?

Trying to estimate the cost of that in Australia. 1800 baht for the all you can eat sushi, 1000 baht for the glasses repair, 1700 baht for the movie with popcorn and I'll be ultra conservative with the taxi ride because I don't know if you travelled far or not and say 700 baht for the taxi. I'm no math expert but it makes BKK still feel pretty cheap compared to one of the cheaper capital cities in Aus lmao.
