With the DTV Visa, Thailand wants to attract people who are working remotely in other countries and spending the money in Thailand. What you do with your spare time - I doubt if they care. I'll bet as long as you can prove you have the income from remote work, and you're not getting the income working for a Thai company - you're in. Let's wait and see how it plays out.
If you don't have your return ticket to your home country, go to a website called onwardticket and for $10 you can buy a fake ticket that shows you are leaving Thailand after 60 days.
I showed them a round trip ticket but I'm not sure if a round trip ticket is required. I don't think so because you have 60 days per stay on the multiple entry Visa.
yes, very simple. Just be sure to include all the docunents they ask for. Have your flight and your first night of hotel - you can book on agoda - pay later, then cancel after the visa is granted.
I'm a US citizen, got my multi-entry granted in 14 days - and this time included that they requested some additional documents after 7 days. I promptly responded and within a few days the Visa was issued. Obviously we're in different countries so your mileage may vary.
