We came on a visa free option, extended by 30 days then flights stated getting cancelled. We went Krabi who gave us the 7 days but said that immigration would not fine us if we showed proof of cancelled flight.when we come back again we will apply for a tourist visa to ensure no issues .Hope this helps !

Thank you for your advice-we are thinking on our next trip to Thailand we may just stay for 3 or 4 months on this occasion -would we get a non -0 for that length of time or is it for just people who are applying for retirement at that time?

hi Brandon so would you say on balance it's better to apply for the retirement visa in your own country(UK) -then funds can remain in UK bank account?
