So we are going for visa exempt entry and then 30 day extension once we are in Thailand.

I made the presupposition that we don’t need a flight out of Thailand when accessing via van the land border from Malaysia, just our first stay in Thailand, is it like that?

Oh okay, we are coming from Malaysia by van. So we have to go first to Koh Lanta and after 2.5 weeks can we drive to immigration office in krabi for extension?
