Some new requirements last week when I went to Krabi immigration.

You will get the extension the same day.

Thai people have a blue house book.

Foreigners can get a yellow house book with their name and address in thai language.

As soon as you get the yellow house book you can get a thai ID card for foreigners.

Go to your local Aompher and ask about the requirements.

I went to Krabi immigration last week and for the first time they wanted a 12 months bank statement from the day they issued my last extension of stay until the day I went to Bangkok bank. The statement is valid for 7 days.

They also wanted 4 pictures from my house.

2 pictures outside . One picture of me in front of the house and one where they could see the house number.

2 pictures from inside the house of 2 different rooms.

They also gave me the application.

Everything was something I didn't know about and I have been here permanently for 18 years and 3 months.
