I never had or have any intention to get Thai residents or citizenship. I'm perfectly happy being Dutch and comfortable with being living overhere. If been living and working in Thailand for the past 30+ years, and it was just a joke to see what kind of reactions and advice I would get. Thanks for the advices and reactions, but I better stay a Dutchman living in Thailand.

Hello, I'm Dutch and together with my, also Dutch, wife been living here in Thailand for more than 30+ years. Now on a retirement visa and before, more than 20 years on a business visum because I owned and run a restaurant. What would be the possibility of getting a citizenship in Thailand after living here for 30+ years and what would be the better use of it compered too our current retirement visum?
