bcz of many foreign people look like u, they rip off us 300 baht per certiricate which is illegal. next time u pay that money pls ask for receipt too(if they can give any!)

The travelers bringing foreign currency more than USD 20,000 or its equivalent into or out of Thailand are required to make a report to Customs. This report is required by the Ministerial Regulation (No. 25) B.E. 2530 issued under the Authority of the Currency Exchange Control Act B.E. 2485 and relevant regulations.

on both inflow and outflow, the max cash limit you can carry is 20.000USD or equivalent. so, you can bring without problem

at poipet they deny %90 of the people who tries to reenter country within the same day of the exit. if you have a tourist visa, you will not have any problem but visa exempt entry is almost impossible.

until now poipet was the only gate for turkish. ı made several runs at there which was the last one 4months ago. if its as you said, it must be something new. ı will check the current situation with my company and friends and will let you know..
