I used to hear that a tefl/tesl cert would get you a job pretty easily,as a native English speaker, even without a degree I haven't researched myself..

I'm thinking about applying from the Philippines as well. Have been searching in this group and I've found 1 case in here of someone being called in for an interview. I really didn't want to stay in Manila while i wait for approval. I believe you can apply from anywhere once you're in country. If i list my current address outside of Manila, are they going to ask me to go to Manila for an interview??
