That would surprise me. Thailand is currently very carefully returning Thai citizens to the country with a mandatory 14 day quarantine. So far every flight has returned passengers testing positive during quarantine. I can't see them relaxing the rules especially for UK and America and Brazil

I Agee. I live in Chiang Rai and feel safer in Thailand than in the U.K.

Thailand is currently negotiating with a few other countries that now have very low or no new cases of virus. I don’t think the U.K. quite fits into that category yet.

I think there is an amnesty until the end of July.. No need to worry about visa or reporting.

Whatever you do don't cancel your O visa 'til you have your elite visa.

I believe the marriage visa linked to type O is good. You only have to show 0 baht in Thai bank account, plus currently no health insurance is required. The type OA visa is considerably more demaanding 0baht deposit in a Thai bank account plus an acceptable health insurance. The deposit in Thai bank account can be combined with an annual income to attain the requirement. The Thai marriage visa also allows the possibility for you to work .
