I checked with Thai immigration and as I already stated , when the borders are open you can go to a Thai embassy and get a non immigrant visa for marriage.

I think you can cross the border , when it's open , and get type O visa. Then on return apply for the marriage visa after a couple of months. 400.000baht in Thai bank account.

So much is catch 22 at the moment. Proof of address either from the owner where you stay or the yellow book is important.

Very easy. Home country driving licence( I didn’t have to translate the licence) Proof of address, Medical certificate easy to do. at the driving centre you will get an eye test. Passport.

Thankyou for the reply. I’m already on my second year. Just had to go up to the Thai border ,cross over to Myanmar and get a stamp. Return to immigration and everything done. Never had to show bank account details .I visited immigration recently and can extend the OA for another two months. Just buying time but worth it. Hope the border situation is open for farangs then.

However, I can extend the OA visa for two months,after it expires (1900 baht).

The requirements for OA visa are much higher. Deposit in the bank, Health insurance, etc.
