Thai Embassy in Ottawa Canada....but you are in the...."States"? why would you be on the Canadian site if your sitting in Ohio?

i have a 2 yr rule...no spending a penny on them if not with them...and it has worked well for me - kept me out of emotional/physical jail and brought a much needed buffer/solid distance between my bank and vacuum cleaners. but that took me a while to figure out. Learn from my mistakes and my success.

nice to hear there is flexibility somewhere in the world - any office in any country I am aware of you need 6 month minimum left on your passport - basic travel knowledge.

exactly...but if you are early enough, no one is behind you and you get attention that you have never had in your life. Could get to a newbe's head if he was starved. I had a buddy with me the 1st time who had been there 2 x b4....so I knew what to expect. But i can see how it would make you feel better. everyone should read "A fool in Paradise" before heading out to SE Asia.
