It's not always the bank per se, but their employees. It's often too difficult for them to comprehend so it's easier just to say "cannot".

I opened a BBK account on an OA visa ok and use their app daily, QR, Prompt pay etc, but cannot pay PEA or AIS prepay with it, minor inconvenience.

Having 65k pm living expenses income doesn't cover a medical emergency...

And those with 800k in the bank, if you have an emergency in the last 2 months of your extension of stay and need to withdraw some of that you're screwed for your next extension...

The logic is flawed.

Do away with the 800k. Keep proof of income to support yourself, and have compulsory medical/accident insurance.
