If airline check-in/boarding gate staff notice someone with a one-way ticket they could ask for sight of one of these three; 1) Return ticket, 2) Onward ticket, 3) ‘Some sort’ of visa. Your DTV will definitely satisfy them.

Condoning perpetuates ‘Government Department’ arrogance and incompetence. Pocketing $400 dollars without supplying the reason for cancellation (or rejection) is deplorable.
