Thai gov crackdown on short term visa boarder runs. Don't critisis my terminology because I don't do them. I love Laos but hate the border stickers, takes up a whole page in my passport or I would go every 4 or 5 Month's to see my cousin and her family. Idiots

I have also had to go to the bank and have them update my phone number details and provide a receipt to show the number was registered correctly with AIS. Provided that and it was turned back on the next day.

like the others it is possible to change in the app, it detects it when you log in, and then when in you acc go to the profile and you need delete the old phone add the new one detected.👍👍

They won't accept the12 month download statement in Udonthani unless signed and Bkk Bank stamp on each page. The bank did this once for me but say they cannot do it now. 🤔🤔

Never had a real issue, except during vivid the long term funds dropdown used but came as a local transfer on my account so I contacted wise and they tagged my account to send as that only, no matter the drop down selected and now you are not even asked to select it anyway.

How can I restore access to my Bangkok Bank account without a long-term visa?

New phone maybe but they were checking up on all of us, I had to go in and do facial recognition again about a month ago. And get a receipt from the mobile carrier in my case AIS, went to AIS gave them 40 baht and they gave me a receipt that match my bank account personal address and that was what they really wanted.
