Some agencies can make it if you tell them you have to open an account for the transfer of money to buy a property. I made it, some friends too when they decided to buy a house during vacations...

Mp Shsen you are stupid, if you are invited to stay to a private place more than one night, you have to be declared by the owner of the place. If not you will be fined from 2500thb to....a big amount if its a long time...Thats the law !

To retire is not to be in vacation... I cant be of any help because my expectations were different : no expats, no tourists, real Thaïland... very easy to find even in the middle of nowhere, 15mn from an airport, 10mn from an hospital, 10mn from a station or hypermarket with everything...a real paradise....

Yes i was there yesterday just for 90 days confimation of stay....a headache, I dont understand what is going on with immigration procedures for normal retired persons...who got everything clear : deposit, insurance, pension.
