Would it not be more simple to fly to Korea or Manila for a couple days and reset the arrival visa? You can get that up to 90 days each time, extended, plus get some different scenery.

If you go though the Thai Embassy, DC, it costs $200, whereas it’s 1900 baht here if self-managed.

I also hate the idea of giving Thai bank $25k.
