Go with Thai Immigration. Check the RTP Immigration website. Onward travel within 180 days is a requirement on the DTV.

You do need onward travel within 180 days on a DTV, it's classed as a tourist visa. You have to apply for the extention, it's not a given and there's been many reports of denials
Steve *******
Correct. The Non Imm O visa doesn't require onward travel but the DTV does.

@Neville *******
You're incorrect. Thai Immigration requires onward travel within your period of allowed stay unless you have a long stay visa. The DTV is not considered long stay.

The airline is correct. The DTV isn't considered a long term visa.

The TDAC is just an ARRIVAL card, there's no requirement to provide an outbound flight. However, if asked, it is a requirement to provide Thai Immigration with onward travel within the time frame of your visa
Steve *******
@Stephen *******
That depends on the visa. There is a legal requirement to have onward travel within 180 days on a DTV Visa and within 60 days on a tourist visa
Steve *******
Nope. Onward travel for a visa exemption has to be within 60 days. Thai Immigration probably won't ask but your airline might.

The 30 days extention has to be applied for and although rarely refused it's not a given.
