We haven't booked our reparation flight yet, as we don't know how long the visa process will take. So would it be alright to not include an E-ticket? As we were planning on booking flights/quarantine hotel once we have the accepted visa in hand.

Yeah, I've read a lot about the tourist visa but it's too short for us. As we want to go live there and look after my mother, that's why we want to get on something that would allow him to stay for many many months

Thanks, everyone for the information, it's still a little confusing though. Can't find any information if my boyfriend is eligible for STV (since someone said STV isn't available for Canada) and it's hard to contact the Vancouver Embassy, as they're line is always busy
