Wow, that's a lot of chasing to change your visa over. I did mine here afew years ago. Like you say, different office different rules

I believe things have changed in the lat few years Kev and nowadays, you can get a Non O in Thailand

Hi Brandon, does he need to get a non o visa too. Can he apply whilst in Thailand or does he have to go to a Thai embassy outside Thailand, in Phils case it would be Vientiane, Loas.

How do I apply for a Police Clearance Certificate from the Thai Police Centre and who should sign the application?

I did it in January at the special branch police station in Bangkok. It was the easiest way I believe.

Cost 100b plus 60b postage, received it a few weeks later as promised
