What are the best options for extending a visa exempt stay in Thailand just before an upcoming flight?

Easy border run, once you are stamped out of Thailand, you walk 10 metres, there is a visa run agency on the left. Give them your passport, as they will need to make a copy, and 900 baht. Wait for the next pickup to take you down the dirt road and back. Took me no more than 1 hour from start to finish😄

Thanks to all who replied, going to use the 30 day visa exempt entry and then extend for 30 days here in Thailand. Far cheaper than a multiple entry tourist visa in Australia

My Mum is flying in to Thailand for 2 days, then we fly out for a week in the middle east, then back to THailand for 5 weeks
