TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian on a Non O visa is inquiring about potential penalties for failing to report their return to Thailand after a trip to Laos. They clarify their reporting schedule, revealing they are not due for a 90-day report until April, but have not filed a TM30 form upon returning. Responses suggest they might face a fine during their 90-day reporting and advise filing the TM30 immediately.

The difference, with a 1 year Visa based on marriage you MUST leave the country every 90 days.

With an Extension of Stay based on marriage, you report at your local Immigration every 90 days if you stayed in the country.

Big difference in regulations if you tell us the wrong name.

Be careful it you ask advice.

One moment please, this person is mixing all toghether, he can not do a 90 day report with a 1 year Multiple Entry Non Immigrant O visa

Okay, you do not have a Non Immigrant O visa valid for 1 year but you have the big stamp from Immigration with in the second line Extension of Stay permitted up to ../../.. and next to that a Re-Entry Permit to travel around.

Example of the Extension of Stay stamp:

confirming i obtained a non o visa in Thailand in January, i had a non o the previous year as well obtained in Thailand. I live in Thailand, and am a co owner of 2 condos i dont rent. I simply went to Luang Prabang for a short getaway, now returned and living in Hua Hin. I believe i should have notified immigration after i returned, to restart my 90 day reporting period.

You should have filed with Thai Inmigration a new TM30 on your return to your hone address from travel outside of Thailand.

When you do your 90 day report be prepared to possibly pay a fine.

It might be wise to file the TM30 now. it now vs waiting til your 90 days report.
