I did visa free entry with no return flight, immigration gave me 90 days to get my application and bank account in order. No agent

Livinglife Jackson tourist stamp on arrival then Non O visa. Immigration gave me a 90 day extension to renew my passport and get my application in order. Easy I bought a one way plane ticket and winged it from there

A suit case and money. I came April 1 2023 still here. I came without a visa, it has been an adventure.

You need to renew your passport. When I applied for my nonO visa, I had only 6 months left on my passport. I printed out the passport application and submitted it to the US embassy in Bangkok. It took about 5 weeks to receive it. I was tourist entry with no visa immigration gave me a 90 day stamp so that I could get things in order. Not much of a problem.

All Thai officials are more than happy to accept a bribe. Have few 1000 baht notes on hand just in case

Possibly if your wife is Thai. I know a dog groomer in Bangkok, she supplements her income with some prostitution, with some regular clientele

In 13 flights with most one way tickets I have never been asked about a return ticket. If asked I would tell them that I am leaving overland by way of Cambodia. I often leave and also enter by bus or taxi.
