Donald Styles you can make three times visa run in a year each will give you 90 days that's 3 months stay each and a total of 9 months stay in Thailand, if you do the 60 days tourist visa.

There are no second extension, 60 days tourist visa can be extended only for once.

Ty so much. So it seems his Tesol certificate isn't going help him to land a non B, besides he is also a student of a university in Bangkok studying Tesol. Currently he is on education visa.

Exactly! But it's possible. I met one he was from states and just finished his High school. Surprisingly he taught 10-12 grade students at that school.

There was a news a couple of months ago stating that the ministry of education is thinking to hire gap year students as a teacher in Thailand that's not definitely the same thing you are saying. Thais change their rules every now and then.

I have heard you can work as a trainer or instructor with non B and work permit. The contract would be different from the true pay. But my friend isn't sure how to do that and nobody seems want to share.

After you finish your tesol, you need to work somewhere as a teacher to gain more experience.
