TLDR : Answer Summary
Indian passport holders face restrictions when attempting to do a visa run. They can purchase a 15-day Visa on Arrival (VoA) for 2000 baht upon entry, but this cannot be extended. It is generally agreed that Indian nationals cannot perform a true 'visa run' like some other nationalities. If they wish to renew their stay, they typically must return to India first. There are options to travel to nearby countries like Laos or Cambodia for a period of stay, but returning directly to Thailand immediately afterwards can be problematic. Immigration officials may require proof of onward travel, accommodation, and financial means, and repeated short-term entries could lead to complications.
there is a list of countries --- India, Pakisten, Iran and some more who cant get tourist visas outsise their home country .... India at least get VOA ...
When people from India land here without having bought a visa from the thai consulate in india beforehand, they BUY a 15 day visa on arrival for 2000baht. As a rule that can't be extended either.
They don't get visa exempt entries like westerners.
About their only choice would be to fly out and back in to buy another 15 day visa on arrival for 2000baht
so if one ( indian passport holder on 15 day voa ) flies back to India on the 14th day and the next day again flies back into thailand for voa at the airport, that will not be an issue by the immigration people?
Well that is NOT a visa run . In fact there is no term visa run that exists for Indian paaaport holders. If after the expiry of your 60 days or 15 days visa you go back and apply the VERY NEXT DAY for another 60 days T visa you may very well get a VOID stamp. However , you can fly to Cambo / Laos and stay there 30 days and come back again for 15 days , thats the max. Indians can do
