Do DTV visa holders need to show 20,000 THB in cash upon entry to Thailand?

Yes DTV is not consider as a long stay Visa and they can ask the proof of 20K or équivalent and they can also check all documentation of your activities even invoices or proof of activities if you are remote worker etc. Only long stay (O ED...) or business/invitation don't need, DTV is not a long stay. They don't ask each time but if one time they ask you need to have.
