News from Nakhon Si Thammarat immigration office. The reason I got rejected is because in the “application under consideration” period I should not do 90 day report. Indeed I was told that I should do the report on 30 May 😅

yep, I put “stay visa expire” 30 May 2025 and I’m just continuing visa extensions for raising half Thai children from previous years…

Tod Daniels if someone applies 30 days earlier, does he/she lose (waste) 30 days from the extension or does the immigration extend it from when the 1st extension would finish?

There is no written law saying that you must keep the funds in your bank account during the 1 month under consideration stamp. However it’s an “unwritten rule”. I just went through this last week. I moved the funds while being under consideration and BKK headquarters asked for supporting document that the funds are still there. I was told that it was a random check. In the end I got the yearly extension anyway but it was a lot of hassle. I had to show what the money was used for, provide pay slip of my wive’s salary and other “supporting documents”. Best recommendation is “don’t touch it because of the random check”
