Hi, I've received my 30 days "under consideration stamp" for extension based on raising thai children. The immigration officers have already visited our house for taking pictures and I'm supposed to come to the immigration on 1st June. I used 400k as proof of funds (without any seasoning). I want to use this money for building a house (need to pay the construction company by Friday). Can I take it out of my bank account? I've asked the immigration officers several times what documents do I need to bring on 1st June. The answer was always "Just your passport". So I just want to verify this information that I won't have to show my bank book/bank letter to the immigration again. Thank you
BTW 1 interesting side note: because I have 2 children, the immigration required birth certificates and tambien baan of both children (documents of only 1 child weren't enough).
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of withdrawing the 400,000 baht from their bank account while their visa extension application, based on raising Thai children, is under consideration. Several community members advise caution, suggesting that it's safer to wait until the extension is granted before accessing the funds. Additionally, they highlight that while there is no seasoning requirement for this type of extension, certain immigration offices might have specific rules regarding maintaining funds in the account during the consideration period.
