Pleased to announce the Non Imm O visa has been accepted

Maybe because I supplied statements from 3 different accounts which I shift money backwards and forwards

It could appear that I’m getting 2000 going into the three accounts lol

Not sure the reason and would like to see others who apply in the future

Thanks for all the comments

Wakes up this morning and a package has been sent which I have to sign for

With some google and Royal Mail searches I can see it was sent from a post office round the corner to embassy

If this is my visa application being returned then it’s the quickest one I’ve had yet

They dealt with the application in a day!?!?

@Gary *******
i came back to UK and bought 7 basic essentials for my first night back

Food and cleaning products

7 items £25

We have quite a packed trolley in Tesco Chiang Rai for around 1300 baht

It’s definitely better than U.K. economy for basic living but going to get luxury items from the import superstore is shocking cheese like nearly £7

And one of my mates who lived in Thailand many moons ago said it was much much cheaper to live there

80-90 baht to the £1

that much for steak

Holy cow !!

At makro I can get a nice ribeye at around 3-400 g for roughly 120-160 baht

That’s scandalous in BKK

in Chiang Mai with the wife and we went into the shopping centre it was just full of American chain restaurants

My wife started to get cranky and we went in this burger steak place

£25 for one steak 🤯

Nothing was less than £12

Me and her usually eat for about 80-100 baht three times a day back in Chiang Rai and to be real about it all of the European style foods are rubbish for what you pay

I will let everyone know how I get on

I’ve sent by post on 13th

So it’s going to reach them by Monday I think and hopefully they will accept it as it got sent before it changes to online application

Online applications with so much documents needed is a nightmare without a computer and scanner at home
