I’ve seen reports of a few being rejected at Vientiane recently on a few pages saying same thing but that includes those doing visa runs etc etc

Joshua seems to have a different situation and I thought you had to leave the country to apply for marriage non O

Check the thai embassy in your home country and maybe email or call them

It’s been known that this new change would cause all sorts of confusion especially since immigration aren’t even aware of what the new rules actually are as such

I applied for my visit visa to see my wife on July 14th a day before they rolled out the new digital application

So it’s all new to many countries

If you got away with it this time then your lucky

Like I say the American guy nearly had to cancel his trip because the website didn’t say anything too

He got a letter back saying must provide financials

His USD figure was the same as mine in GBP

Count yourself very lucky indeed

I won’t go into how lucky I was with my application

But I can tell you I expected a no so was thrilled when it was returned in 3 days with a yes

A USA citizen had same problem and had to get his bank details before visa was completed

They may have different rules as they are still eastern neighbouring countries but if you are a citizen outside of that then yes

Non O immigrant visit visa it is proof of £1500 earning going in bank each month
