Sure about what ? There are news about crimes in Cambodia or about scam hubs ? Both legit. We can go back and forth like that but what’s the point. I’ve been many times in Laos nothing happened. Been in Cambodia once at the border to do visa run and they tried to rob me. Everyone might have different opinions but internet 🛜 is pretty clear about that ;) what’s going on in Cambodia is different state of mind ;)

Poland and Thailand two different cases 🙂 my daughter got both passports (Polish and Thai) Poland doesn’t really care about dual citizenship, Thai do care a lot about those things 🙂 as long as your child is teenager you still can apply easily, but if you older is not that easy like you said 🙂 in worst case scenario she might be asking to even drop US passport.

I know from my Thai family, and from some Thais with kids living abroad (Australia, USA) if parents haven’t done anything until their kids are around 20 yo is much harder to get dual citizenship even though one of the parent is Thai. I hope im wrong on this, but i think you might start learning proper Thai, and some national songs to be able to get it :) like i said i hope im wrong, but i know every child born abroad parents try to get Thai passport as soon as possible. Ps. There is also a case with military service and so on.

I do ! Been on long term visa in Thailand for almost a decade, I did learn to keep it close ;) they ask for statement at least 4 months back, while I’m extending visa every year. Btw this money can make some interest as well here and there so is win win.
