yes thats true. I took my passport to immigration to be checked if im eligible to exchange this temporary amnesty "visa" to ed visa. They said yes, and u dont have to leave the country. However its really the last minute to do it. Schools need 1..2 weeks to process the school papers so u can go to immigration for applying for ed Visa. Their deadline is apparently 16th july, so better hurry :) i hope it hepls...

i asked the carrier, fedex. They say ask the customs. So thats why i contacted them :)

i called customs what they would charge for a laptop. General duty is 0%. However for laptop bag, clothes etc is 30%. I need to pay 7% vat of the sum of the laptop value +shipping cost + insurance. Ill find out soon tho and ill update it here... good luck for me :D
